Test Technician

At STEM Recruitment Solutions we are working with our client who are looking to recruit an Test Technician based in Kelso.

Responsible for operating production test equipment, troubleshoot and repair defective products, maintain test equipment, monitor test performance and yield information, and provide technical support to other focus factory personnel.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Support improvement initiatives and participates actively to improve work environment (example 5S).

* Look for opportunities to improve work productivity and efficiency.

* Able to work cooperatively in a team & cross functional team(s) as needed.

* Able to maintain a level temperament in a stressful environment.

* Willing to take on additional assignments.

* Look for opportunities to improve quality and eliminate waste at work.

* Basic hand repair of assemblies.

* Support the development of documentation for operational or technical training.

* Operate test equipment (may include flying probe, In-circuit test, functional).

* Support reactive maintenance (test equipment).

* Train operators how to properly utilize the test equipment and instructions.

* Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business.
