New Requirement for 3 Cloud Engineers for a remote based contract.

You must have active Security Clearance and NPPV3 to apply.

The Role

Working as part of a DevOps team transforming, supporting and mainteance a system of critical national infrastructure to public cloud adhering to engineering best practices. You will be expected to collaborate closely with team members and the broader programme to:

* support the transition of legacy infrastructure to AWS Cloud

* build new capabilities on AWS Cloud

Highly technical in nature, in your role you will need demonstrable technical experience of working within AWS cloud services.

Essential experience

* Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing solutions using within AWS

* Demonstrable experience of working in a DevOps environment

* Experience of applying security to all workloads

* Experience of working with and implementing CI/CD infrastructure pipelines

* Demonstrable experience of automating deployment and configuration pipelines of COTS software and promoting through multiple environments

* Linux scripting

* Terraform and Ansible

* Experience of working in Agile teams being aware of Agile methodologies (using Scrum or Kanban)

Desirable experience

* Experience of working with the Atlassian toolset (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)

* Experience in deploying third party and Cloud native services, leveraging PaaS services to deliver best practice monitoring and management

* Secrets Management and cryptography

* Security Management

* System/Software test experience (ideally test automation)

* Configuration management tooling experience

* IAM / AAA

* AWS Qualifications in your area of expertise
