Injection Moulding Technician

We are currently looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join our well-established client in Harlow Essex area to work 4 nights per week, Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am.

As a Mould Technician/Setter, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of of their moulding operations.

On a night to night basis, the role will involve starting up, setting and operating injection moulding and or extrusion machines. You will work to bespoke customer specification to manufacture a wide range of products.

Responsibilities:

Perform mould tool and insert changes with precision and efficiency.
Conduct tool trials to evaluate and optimise moulding processes.
Continuously work on optimising the moulding process to improve productivity and quality.
Hit and maintain cycle times to meet production targets.
Monitor and maintain the quality of moulded parts to meet our high standards.
Conduct daily safety checks on moulding machines and ancillary equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Complete required paperwork such as setting sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
Train and provide guidance to operators as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Set up ancillary equipment such as dryers, water heaters, and robots for efficient production.The person:

Ability to troubleshoot and optimise processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to moulding operations
