Simple Recruitment are looking for a hardworking and reliable CNC Operator for a permanent opportunity with our client in Frome.
The Job:
* Working as part of a small team, you will be manufacturing components using a range of materials, such as mild and alloy steel, aluminium and plastics.
* Completing job sheets.
* Reading drawings and maintaining tolerances.
* Adhering to quality assurance processes and procedures.
* Undertaking regular, simple machine maintenance checks.
The Salary:
£14.50 per hour rising to £15.00 per hour after 3 months probation.
The Hours:
Full-time Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The hours of work are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1.30pm on Fridays. 10 minute tea break at 10.30am and 30 minute lunch break at 1pm.
About You:
You will have an engineering background in a similar environment, with experience of CNC, metalwork and machine operation. Experience with Doosan CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls would be highly advantageous. Further to this, you will be self-motivated and able to work well both individually and as part of a team.
