Role Overview:

As the Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering aspects of the construction project, ensuring that work is carried out safely, accurately, and to the highest standards of quality. Working closely with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders, you will help bring our vision to life and create a dynamic new office environment in Fareham.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct site surveys and assessments to establish site conditions and prepare for construction activities.

* Assist in the setting out of building elements, including foundations, structural elements, and utilities, to ensure accurate positioning and alignment.

* Monitor and inspect construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and optimize construction processes.

* Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.

* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

* Promote a culture of safety on the construction site and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on construction projects, preferably with experience in commercial or office developments.

* Strong technical skills, with knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and building regulations.

* Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software for setting out and site measurements.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Valid CSCS card and relevant certifications.
