We have an exciting opportunity for a Category Manager Procurement Manager to join an industry leading and global business with sites across the UK. Applicants will need to have previous experience in a strategic Senior Category Manager, Procurement Manager or Supply Chain role within construction, manufacturing, engineering or infrastructure.
The role of Senior Category Manager
To lead, develop, and execute category and sourcing strategies across various spend categories. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, with a proven track record of leading projects and driving strategic initiatives. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering results through a motivated and entrepreneurial approach. Exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of procurement processes are essential for influencing stakeholders and driving meaningful change across the organisation. Effectively manage, develop and mentor team in line with corporate processes and procedures.

Candidate requirements:
Experience in a Senior Category Manager, Procurement Manager or supply chain role within construction, manufacturing, engineering or infrastructure.
Leadership / Line Management / mentoring experience
Experience in category management, with a strong focus on project leadership and strategic execution.
Strategic Thinking: Expertise in developing and executing long-term sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
Results focussed
Willingness to travel as part of the role.
