Buyer Analyst

Description

Manage overall stock (Stocking levels / stock turns / budget by product group)
Support in production planning meetings, reporting and resolving supply chain issues
Work closely with and holding regular supplier reviews to ensure effective on time delivery
Analyzing data to improve overall delivery, performance and process's
Development and monitoring of on time delivery KPI's
Managing end to end logistics agents / freight forwarding companies and associated costs
implementation of purchasing strategies - identifying opportunities for improvement
Reporting to Senior Management / Director on purchasing performance
Responsible for day-to-day operations of a busy supply chain teamProfile

Have experience of buying for stock. Looking at historical trends and incorporating insights from the sales team.
Be proactive, hardworking, results orientated, a natural problem solver with a positive outlook and strong attention to detail.
Be able to work collaboratively cross functionally (Engineering / Quality / Sales) to deliver objectives
Be advanced Microsoft Excel user
Have experience in MRP or ERP systems (Ideally SAGE)
Have experience in data analysis / interrogation & reporting (Ideally MS Office/ODBC/ SQL)
Have experience of identifying and delivering process improvements
Have a passport & driver's license as some travel may be requiredJob Offer

Salary up to £45k based on experience
