Airside Driver

M4 Recruitment is currently seeking Airside Drivers with a minimum 7.5t license for immediate placement.

In this role, you will be pivotal to the efficient operation of airside logistics, responsible for transporting cargo between warehouse facilities and shuttle services. Your role will involve adhering to strict safety and operational protocols to ensure the timely and secure transfer of goods within the airfreight environment.

As an Airside Driver, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the smooth flow of logistical operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the airside operations team. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring a high level of attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and a commitment to safety.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 2 off, including a mix of 2 early and 2 late shifts.

* Early Shift: Start between 5:00am - 6:00am

* Late Shift: Start between 13:00pm - 16:00pm

Pay Rates:

* Standard Rate: £15.31 per hour (including shift allowance)

* Overtime Rate: £21.55 per hour

* Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holiday Overtime: £28.74 per hour

Overtime applies after 37.5 hours worked per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Transfer cargo between warehouse and shuttles.

* Ensure efficient and timely operations in an airfreight environment.

* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Safely transporting cargo between designated areas on the airside.

* Following established procedures for loading, unloading, and securing cargo.

* Collaborating effectively with warehouse personnel and shuttle operators to facilitate timely transfers.

* Maintaining cleanliness and organization of vehicles to ensure operational readiness.

* Adhering strictly to health, safety, and security regulations at all times.

Additional Requirements:

* 5-year checkable work history.

* Valid Cargo Operative Certificate (assistance provided if needed).

* DBS Certificate (assistance provided if needed).

* Right to work in the UK.
