Responsibilities:
* Ensure prompt completion of all Planned Maintenance, Reactive Response, Specialist Sub-contract, and Remedial Work Orders.
* Provide routine and specialised engineering maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital.
* Offer competent Technical, Health, Safety, and Environmental support and act as an exemplar of company policies and procedures.
* Train, mentor, and provide hands-on assistance to other site-based Technicians or Engineering Assistants.
* Offer engineering support and advice to hospital managers as required.
* Build and foster a strong team ethos.
* Be flexible to cover for engineering absences or supplement labour at hospitals within the cluster, providing specialist advice or services, including AP duties, Electrical, Mechanical, or Air Conditioning support.
Requirements:
* Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at the appropriate level of qualification. If electrically qualified, a current Electro-technical Certification Scheme (ECS) Card is required.
* City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical biased discipline.
* Willingness to act as AP and RP Medgas as required.
* Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines, statutes, and ACOPs.
* Understanding of L8 Legionella ACOP within hospital buildings.
* Strong organisation and time management skills in environments with competing priorities.
* Ability to conduct fault finding and read technical drawings.
* Proficient in using PCs, software, and systems.
* A full driving licence and access to own car due to travelling between sites.
