Our client primary school located in Rochdale is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 teacher to join their team. The school boasts a warm and nurturing environment, with a strong emphasis on fostering a love for learning among our students. With a two-form entry, each class benefits from the support of a dedicated teaching assistant, ensuring a conducive learning experience for all.

Our client school believes that children thrive in a caring atmosphere and place an emphasis on ensuring they have their needs met. As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons aligned to the curriculum and ensuring assessments take place throughout the learning process. The school utilises a range of learning schemes such as White Rose Maths, Reading VIPERS and Talk for Writing to support with planning.

This full-time role offers a competitive pay rate ranging from £140 to £240 per day, subject to your experience.

To be a success in this role, you will need to:

Have QTS or QTLS status
Have experience within a KS2 setting
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK
