As a English Teacher at this secondary school in Nuneaton, you will be an integral part of the team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything you do. This is an independent specialist day school in Nuneaton providing an engaging educational offer within a supportive and tailored learning environment for children aged 7 -16 with specific or a range of social, emotional and mental health needs, and additional needs such as ADHD, autism, learning needs and specific learning difficulties.

As an English Teacher at this specialist SEN school in Nuneaton your duties will include;

Developing, implementing, and monitoring lessons with year groups 8-11
Ensuring lessons are well structured and engaging
Supporting teachers of other groups
Providing support to students
Setting expectations to challenge and motivate studentsTo be considered for this English Teacher role, you must;

Hold a PCGE with QTS
Be an English specialist
Have experience working with young people who present challenging behaviour, or have a desire to do so
