Stonegate Farmers Ltd is an integrated free range and organic egg business organised across three divisions comprising farming and agriculture, egg packing and cooked egg processing. Established in 1926 and under new ownership since 2016, we have grown into one the largest free-range and organic egg producers within the UK.

Moving millions of mother nature’s most fragile food items every day takes finesse and know how. We work closely with our producers to collect, grade and package each individual egg. We deliver daily from hen houses right across the country to the most exclusive restaurants and to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets, together with first class egg products to some of the biggest names in food manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Overall administrative support to rearing farms and staff

* Utilise business bespoke software for record-keeping tasks

* Acting as key point of contact for all rearing related enquiries

* Day-to-day contact between our Lincoln office and our agricultural teams in Head Office, ensuring rearing forecasts are accurately communicated

* Oversee and coordinate rearing programmes to ensure optimal levels of egg production

* Ensure accurate forecast information is communicated across key stakeholders, working collaboratively to ensure requirements align with availability

* Identify any contract rearing requirements and facilitate this pre-approved rearers

* Place all speciality chick orders and update all changes with hatchery / Farm Managers and customers as and when they occur

* Prepare budgets and costings, ensuring financial information is maintained and readily available

* Other ad hoc duties as required

Person Specification:

* Excellent and consistent organisation

* Intermediate user of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Qualifications / Experience:

* Previous experience within a planning and scheduling role, ideally working within poultry or livestock
