NEW CONFIGURATION ENGINEER ROLE BASED IN LUTON, BEDFORDSHIRE.

A market leading organisation based in Luton, Bedfordshire are looking for a Configuration Engineer to join a dynamic engineering department, collaborating with various company departments, and ensuring seamless coordination of all controlled documentations in accordance with company procedures.

You'll be responsible for producing engineering drawings from outline specifications provided by the engineering team, as well as amending technical drawings and specifications using configuration/change management tools.

Responsibilities for a Configuration Engineer based in Luton, Bedfordshire:

Promote and implement 'best practice' engineering to support design and manufacturing.
Create and maintain models/drawings of proposed designs, utilizing CAD software.
Maintain a well-organized CAD library, ensuring proper naming conventions and revision control.
Ensure compliance with quality processes and procedures defined in Eaton Quality Management System.
Key skills needed/required for a Configuration Engineer based in Luton, Bedfordshire:

Previous experience working in an engineering design environment.
Ability to demonstrate both independent and collaborative working.
Expertise in Drawing Office key design disciplines including configuration management, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, test procedure drawings, and product label drawings.
Proficiency in CAD in a drawing office setting.
