Our client is contracted to provide the day-to-day repairs and planned maintenance to various buildings across the Isle of Wight (inclusive of public buildings and social housing). The right candidate must have relevant experience within construction and assisting core trades such as carpenters, multi-traders, plumbers and painters. It is a further requirement that all operatives must pass a DBS and Police vetting check and have a full clean UK Driving License.
The right candidate will need to;
Be able to demonstrate you are a competent Labourer with a reasonable understanding of construction methods and materials used
Have at least 2 years experience working as a labourer within the construction industry
Have a practical approach to health and safety, ensuring that you and others are safe at all times
Able to work independently, and able to prioritise tasks and complete them in a timely manner
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
YOU MUST LIVE ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE
