Science Teacher - September start

Tradewind are working with a thriving school in North Bristol who are looking for someone to join their school. We are currently in search of a dedicated Science Teacher to join the school full-time, Monday to Friday, starting September 2024 until January 2025 initially. ( part time considered )

As the successful candidate, you will play a crucial role in delivering captivating lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to both parents and colleagues. We extend a warm welcome to Early Career Teachers (ECT) who share our enthusiasm for teaching and are ready to contribute to creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment for our students.

Within the role:

As a science teacher you will need to teach biology, chemistry, and physics. It will be a bonus to teach your specialism up to A-level.

This will be a full duties role which will go on until the end of the academic year, the school will also consider someone part time if you are the right fit, but the school will consider someone on a supply basis.

You will be paid to scale and experience, the daily rate of pay ranges from £140 - £250 via PAYE.

The ideal candidate will possess:

A relevant teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in teaching all sciences up to GCSE level.
Strong communication and organizational skills
Effective classroom management abilities and the knack for fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
