Position: Approved Electrician
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £18.47 -
Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday, Overtime Available
Hours of Work: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week (Basic)
Note: Overtime is not guaranteed, but average hours are 50+ per week for around 10 months of the year.

Package:
* £18.47 per hour
* Overtime Pay: Time and a half after 37.5 hours including travel time
* Saturdays: First 6 hours at time and a half, double time thereafter
* Sundays: Double time all day
* 22 days annual leave plus Statutory Bank Holidays
* SSP: In accordance with government regulations
* Company Pension Scheme: After 3 months probationary period - Company will match your contribution up to 6%
* Training: Provided by the company along with supported career development
* Further Pay Levels: Achievable once qualified (e.g., Compex Electrician)

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
* Qualified Electrician C&G/Apprenticeship/AM2 or Equivalent
* C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Inspection & Testing C&G 2391 or Equivalent
* CCNSG

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
* SHEA Passport (Not essential)
* SCO1 & 2 (Not essential)
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels
* Ability to travel at short notice including long distances
* Team player
* Willing to work overtime when required, including working away from home Monday - Friday
* Awareness of H+S regulations on site

Job Specification / Duties:
* Ensure safety standards on site are met (H+S /CDM Regulations)
* Perform tasks as instructed by the site supervisor
* Installation of tray work, conduit, trunking
* Installation of SWA type cabling at various sizes
* Installation of distribution boards
* Electrical installation in Industrial Environments

Person Specification:
Reliability and loyalty are essential qualities along with an ability to use initiative and work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
