We are working with a very exciting startup in the cyber security space, looking to hire an experienced backend developer to join them as they continue to grow.

They are disrupting the world of vulnerability management, application security, and cloud security and we are looking for a candidate who wants to work very dynamically and flexibly, can be self-managed, and is comfortable working in a start-up.

The vision is to help CIO/CTO/CISO, and developers talk the same language regarding vulnerability management, providing a platform that enables a clear view on vulnerabilities and contextualization of those in applications with enriched information,such as the cost of the application and the risk of the importance level of the application.

The role:

We are looking for a Backend Developer to help take the application to the next level in Application Security Posture Management. The ideal candidate would be a backend developer with experience and knowledge around building APIs and services using Kotlin and Spring Boot.

You will work with the wider team of developers to implement functional changes and improvements to the platform. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address clients’ needs and help grow the customer base.

Tech Stack:

* Kotlin

* Spring Boot

* Container deployment (Docker)

* AWS deployments (ECS, EKS)

* Secondary: Postgresql, GCP, Rust

Responsibilities

* Work independently on defined requirements and stories

* Collaborate with the team to improve the implementation velocity and effectiveness

* Propose functional and technical alternatives and options pertinent to the work at hand

* Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

* Identify and troubleshoot technical problems

* Collaborate in architectural discussions and decisions

Requirements

* Demonstrable experience in core technologies for a number of years

* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

* Approachable

* Portfolio of implemented projects

* Familiar with API design

* Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

* Extremely good time-management skills

* BSc in Computer Science or relevant field – or equivalent qualification/experience

* Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Github Projects
