Performance Objectives
Execute mechanical activities on-site as directed
All planned maintenance tasks, change overs, other additional work as required by engineering manager
Diagnose breakdown faults - mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, process
Permitting compliance with safety requirements and liaison and coordination with other Departments as required.
Ensures equipment, materials and tools are on-hand for work execution.
Reports resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework or deferred maintenance as required whilst keeping all tasks & activities logged and up-dated.
Equipment Problems Trouble-shooting and Basic Root Cause Analysis and Development of Solutions.
Provide Technical Support to all machine breakdowns and changeovers.Person Specification
Apprentice trained to ONC / HNC / C&G Level 3.
Able to read Hydraulics / pneumatics circuits.
Read and produce mechanical drawings.
Carried out PPM on mechanical equipment.
TPM / 6S / Continuous Improvement / Lean experience.
Electrical and Mechanical ability essential
Complex problem solving and fault finding experience
Attention to Detail
Ability to work and learn independentlyApply
