Are you a Survey Technician looking for a new and exciting opportunity? TEXO Recruitment are delighted to be representing our external client, a specialist global provider offering subsea survey equipment, and data enabling services to it's clients worldwide.

TEXO Recruitment are looking for an experienced Survey Technician to our client on a permanent basis, working within the Technical & Operations division based in Aberdeen.

Duties:

* Preparing and testing of equipment prior to rental and post hi

* Function testing, software / firmware updates, cable integrity.

* Ensuring completeness of equipment against packing lists.

* Checking, inspecting, and documenting equipment returned from hire.

* Visual inspection, function testing and writing technical reports.

* Identification of in-house or external repair tasks.

* Preparing all assets to ensure they are ready for delivery to clients at short notice.

* General warehouse and delivery duties.

* Checking, inspecting and documenting equipment on mobilisation.

* Setup, interface, function test on mobilisation.

* Troubleshoot to successful conclusion.

* Assist offshore survey team as required.

* Demobilise, check, inspect and document equipment prior to dispatch back to base.

* Attend Offshore training and undergo an Offshore medical.

Requirements:

* Qualified to degree level in relevant Engineering or have 3-5 years equivalent experience.

* Working knowledge of electronic engineering principles, techniques, and practices.

* Experience in working with survey equipment.

* Experience of asset tracking databases.

* Knowledge of interfacing survey sensors with acquisition software

* Ability to work unsupervised on basic offshore projects.

* Ability to operate survey equipment as part of an offshore survey team

* The successful candidate must hold a Full UK Driving licence.
