Twenty4Seven Education is thrilled to be working alongside this incredible primary school located in Caerphilly. They are looking for a qualified and passionate teaching assistant to work in their year 1 class on a one-to-one basis with a pupil with additional learning needs. They are looking for a teaching assistant who will support the pupil in their everyday school life helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

They strive to create a safe space for each child to explore through creative means building their confidence and developing their individual strengths. The school is run by a dedicated team of staff who work together to create an enriching and stimulating curriculum that develops a passion for learning and prepares their students for the wider world. They are looking for a teaching assistant who will show a passion for learning and dedication to the development of each pupil individually.
The Role
The successful candidate will begin working in September and will continue until the end of the year. They will be working Term time Monday to Friday from 8:30-15:30. They will be working as a 1:1 in the year 1 class supporting a pupil with additional learning needs.
As a One-to-one Teaching Assistant you will:

Work one-to-one with a pupil with additional learning needs
*
Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum
*
Assist the pupil in making progress academically, socially, and personally
*
Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further
*
Work with the pupil and teacher to plan and put into action systems to support the pupil
*
Support the classroom teacher and work in small groups completing learning activities set by the teacher
The successful candidate:
*
Will be caring, enthusiastic, and approachable
*
Will have experience working within an educational setting
*
Will have an understanding of how to support children with SEN
*
Will have a good command of the English language
*
Experience working in a similar role
*
Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
