Band 7 Occupational Therapist Team Leader

Eden Brown have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a Band 7 Team Leader.

Caseload:

To be responsible for the management of a complex caseload
To be responsible for the total OT case management of patients including follow up and onward referral as required.
To prioritise patient referrals according to OT clinical prioritisation
To manage the case capacity within the team and delegate tasks accordingly

Some of your main duties and responsibilities will be to:

To be responsible for co-ordinating and developing the clinical service in his/her speciality in liaison with the Head of Service and Clinical Team Leads
Demonstrate clear problem solving ability by assessing and accessing solutions to complex cases requiring a multi skilled approach
To identify tasks suitable for delegation to others for e.g. OT support staff, nursing staff etc and supervise accordingly

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

Senior level of OT experience
