Spinwell is recruiting for a Facility Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FACILITY ENGINEER
Deliver professional engineering services to enable the Principal Asset Engineer in fulfilment of the strategy for the upkeep of all assets and equipment client needs in order to deliver the Programme.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE FACILITY ENGINEER
* HNC with suitable additional experience to Incorporated Engineer equivalent level.
* Membership of an engineering institution.
* A ‘doer’ rather than a manager
* Understand what a safety case is.
* Engineering background
* Nuclear background/experience highly desirable
* RAF/Defence background may provide transferable skills.
* Technical rather than management bias
* Maintenance experience
* Shortfall fixes/breakdown assessments
* On call breakdown checks
* Substantiation
* Compliance assessments
