Service Engineer

Location: Hull

Hours of work: 40

Contract Type: Permanent

ISS is seeking a dedicated Service Engineer to join our team working at Hull Magistrates Court.

In this role, you will ensure that all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks within your skillset are up-to-date, efficiently closing off tasks on your PDA in conjunction with the Helpdesk. You will promptly address and complete all remedial work within your skillset, adhering to contract requirements.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the rigorous management of subcontractors on site, ensuring compliance with ISS policies and procedures.

You will carry out Hard FM tasks to the highest quality standards, and while general FM electrical duties and fault finding are essential, experience with BMS panels is preferred but not mandatory.

Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, totalling 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure all PPMs within your skillset are up to date at all times in conjunction with Helpdesk by closing off tasks on your PDA

* Ensure all remedial work within your skillset is reacted to and carried out within the contract requirement times

* If required assist in ensuring all subcontractors are rigorously managed at all times whilst on site in accordance with ISS policies and procedures

* Ensure all work carried out on Hard FM tasks are carried out to required quality standards

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

* Experience in Technical area of expertise

* Relevant technical qualifications Mandatory are , 18th Edition essential

* Mechanical experience preferable, basic plumbing and fabric maintenance skills preferable and PPM experience in various fields

* Excellent verbal communication skills

* Good problem solver
