Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Qualified Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis for maternity cover, starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching both French and Spanish across various year groups, inspiring a love of languages and cultural awareness among our students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish to students of varying abilities.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and resources.

- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall school experience for students.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the MFL curriculum and educational best practices.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

- Proficiency in both French and Spanish, with the ability to teach both languages effectively.

- Experience teaching MFL at the preparatory or secondary school level.

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
