Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Empowering Learning is working with a primary school within Stockport who is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to a specific child with special educational needs on a 1-2-1 basis.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies in collaboration with teachers and SENCO.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist with classroom activities and provide targeted interventions.
Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Promote social and emotional development, helping the child to build confidence and independence.What We're Looking For

Experience: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is essential.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of the child.
Passion: A genuine passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their educational journey.
