The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Key Stage 2 pupils, fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment, and supporting the overall development of the pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil learning and well-being.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and practices.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Proven experience teaching within KS2.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and the ethos of lifelong learning.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable
Experience with integrating technology into the classroom.
A passion for extra-curricular activities and the ability to lead clubs or activities.
