About Us

HVAC Recruitment is working with a leading Facilities Management company in Scotland, renowned for its comprehensive maintenance and support services to a wide range of commercial clients. We are looking for a talented Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team.

Role Purpose

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will primarily cover sites in Edinburgh for three days a week, with the remainder of the week covering various sites across Scotland. The Commercial Gas Engineer will work on a mix of commercial gas and building services tasks, including tap temperatures, emergency lighting, and more.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform maintenance and repair work on commercial gas systems.

* Carry out building services tasks, including tap temperatures and emergency lighting.

* Work on commercial offices and airport control towers.

* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and compliance.

* Be available for on-call duties on a rotational basis (1 in 6).

* Manage travel time efficiently, with a 30-minute each-way travel allowance.

* Take advantage of unlimited overtime opportunities to maximize earnings.

Candidate Profile

* Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.

* Strong knowledge of building services tasks.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

* Flexibility to travel across Scotland as required.

What We Offer

* Competitive Salary: £40,000 to £45,000
