Hyperion Partners is recruiting for a Commercial Manager. Our client is dedicated to providing safe, affordable, and sustainable housing solutions for all. We're currently seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to oversee repairs and contracts management. This is a vital role that requires a unique blend of managerial prowess, strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Management: Negotiate contracts with repair and maintenance contractors ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and adherence to regulatory standards.

2. Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

3. Budget Oversight: Manage the budget for repairs and maintenance projects, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and expenditures are within budgetary constraints.

4. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure repairs and maintenance meet our organization's standards and regulatory requirements.

5. Project Management: Oversee repair and maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines are met and disruptions to residents are minimized.

Qualifications:

* Hold a professional qualification in construction, surveying, finance, or relevant equivalent experience.

* Member of a relevant professional body

* Experience of running a commercially focused operation delivering responsive and planned building repairs and maintenance services.

* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with contractors and vendors.

* Excellent financial acumen with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.

* Exceptional project management skills with a keen attention to detail.

* Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards within the social housing industry.

* Experience in Asset Management within Social Housing
