We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. The Kitchen Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, supporting the chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Responsibilities:

Wash and clean pots, pans, utensils, and dishes
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and basic cooking tasks as needed
Dispose of waste and recycling properly
Unload and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist in organising the kitchen and keeping it tidy
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or kitchen staff
You'll have:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
High level of cleanliness and attention to detail
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy items
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
