The successful Structural Engineer will support the Sales, Project and Process Engineering teams in the production of structural calculations and design sketches.

The role will involve:

Provide steel weight estimates and concept designs in full accordance with standards and clients' project specifications in order to assist the Sales and Process departments at the bidding stage.
Work as a team member dedicated to fulfilling the design requirements of the projects.
Structural design of £multi-million projects.
Preparation of clear design sketches.
Monitor job progress within specified schedules.
Check drawings and structural calculations and analyses from colleagues and subvendors.
Assist in the development of STAAD, SAP2000, other 3D CAD systems and in-house standards.

To be successful in this role of Structural Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

Qualifications to HND/Degree level in a mechanical or structural engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
A keen forward-looking attitude is required for problem solving engineering.
Previous experience of working in a 3D analysis environment is essential.
High standard of analytical & technical problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
