Maintenance Carpenter Needed for Social Housing

Position: Carpenter

Location: Islington

Salary: Equivalent to £43k 

Hours: Full-time, 42.5 hours

Responsibilities for the Carpenter role:

Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on social housing properties, including carpentry work such as door and window repairs, installing cabinets, and repairing flooring.

Responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers.

Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.

Conducting inspections and identifying areas requiring maintenance or repair.

Collaborating with other maintenance team members and contractors as needed.

Requirements for the Carpenter role:

Proven experience as a maintenance carpenter.

Strong carpentry skills and knowledge of relevant tools and equipment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Valid driver's licence.

Qualifications for the Carpenter role:

NVQ Certification or training in carpentry or related field.

Experience working in social housing or similar environments.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to maintenance work.
