Principal Structural Engineer

Salary up to £60,000

My client, a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is seeking a talented Principal Structural Engineer to join their busy team in Kendal. Working as a Principal Structural Engineer you will have the opportunity to manage and lead one of their busiest teams for maritime/Coastal engineering, Industrial and Water.

It is essential for the Principal Structural Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

Either be chartered engineer or working towards a chartered status
Honours degree in Structural Engineering or a relevant degree
Experience of leading and managing large and smaller sized projects
Experience of working in 3D design
Effective persuading and negotiation skillsDuties and responsibilities for this Principal Structural Engineer include:

Demonstrating your experience and providing technical guidance
Managing the delivery of projects and ensuring all technical content is carried our correctly
Support training and technical guidance to colleagues
Undertake structural drawings, calculations, and reportsSalary and benefits
