Job Title:  Recycling Service Operative (Collection Driver)

Location: Glasgow

Salary:  £24,960 to £27,538 per annum + £1,000 signing on bonus + incentives (OTE circa £30k)

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri (occasional weekend overtime shifts required)

Benefits:

The Role:

You will be provided with a van and will be responsible for completing collections for customers within the city centre. This is a customer facing role and you will get to know their locations and the best times to complete collections. You will have to enter the customers office, hotel, restaurant etc and bring the recycling (cardboard, bagged waste etc) out to your vehicle. This is a challenging but rewarding role for an active, adaptable person who enjoys being outside and driving in the city.

For those who want to progress, we offer opportunities for the right candidates to work towards and to complete their HGV qualification. 

About you:

Multi Drop / Van Driving experience beneficial but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Personable yet professional
Methodical approach to problem solving
Please note that candidates will be required to commute to Queenslie Industrial Estate daily.
