Educated Appointments are delighted to be supporting a leading provider of business and professional apprenticeships to hire a home based Accountancy Tutor.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of our clients accounts workshops for AAT working across the range of levels from 2 to 4. You will engage, direct, and support the students to achieve their full potential and deliver on first time pass rates for the AAT exams. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, to make a positive contribution to the overall student learning journey.

Key responsibilities

* Deliver group workshops to students studying AAT qualification across levels 2, 3 and, 4 in line with the training plan

* Using the learning systems in place to support students, plan and direct workshops to meet the needs of the students to maximise first time pass rates

* Enthuse the learners, engaging and motivating by using real life examples and up to date teaching methods

* Provide detailed feedback to students on their progress throughout each module, logging this in the student e-portfolio

* Manage the learning journey alongside the Coach to ensure timely completion of the apprenticeship

* Where required, liaise with employers to support the student journey

* Working effectively with the programme manager and coaches, to share best practice and ensure consistency across the Accounts apprenticeship programme

Skills

* ICT literate with good presentation skills

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Able to effectively manage conflicting and competing priorities

* Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills

Knowledge and qualifications

* Experience of delivery of Apprenticeships

* AAT qualified to level 4 as a minimum

* Teaching qualification such as PTLLS or Certificate in Education (Cert Ed) would be an advantage

* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
