Role Overview – Machine Setter/Operator

Our client is a leading manufacturer within the automation and electrification industry. They are looking for an experience Machine Setter Operator to join their team at their West Midlands based facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating machinery to produce components in their Corrugation team.

Key Responsibilities – Machine Setter/Operator

Maintaining high integrity for Health & Safety, Environment, and Quality standards.
Set tooling onto machinery and adjust conditions to ensure product quality meets specifications.
Working in accordance with the company quality manual and adhering to established procedures.
Monitor conduit quality with reference to drawings, specifications, and systems, resolving any issues that arise.
Actively participate in improving department efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping in work areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Report and resolve equipment faults to ensure optimal operation.
Identify and suggest improvements to management to reduce costs and enhance quality.
Key Requirements & Qualifications – Machine Setter/Operator

Previous experience within a machine setting role with a manufacturing environment.
Capable of working effectively to achieve personal and employee targets.
Knowledge of all H&S and Quality requirements in a manufacturing environment.
Engineering or Manufacturing qualifications desirable but not essential.
