We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-service-oriented Lodge Receptionist to join the Lodge team at a prestigious college in Oxford. In this vital role, you will provide a warm welcome to members of the college and visitors while ensuring the safety and security of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
-Operate access control systems and monitor CCTV to maintain a secure environment.
-Respond to fire alarms, evacuations, and other emergencies.
-Issue keys and maintain accurate records.
-Answer telephone inquiries and manage incoming/outgoing mail.
-Promote sales of souvenirs and maintain cleanliness of the Lodge area.
-Undertake first aid training and remain qualified.
-Provide information and assistance to members, conference delegates, and the general public.

Requirements:
-Conversational level English and excellent communication skills.
-Experience greeting guests and providing outstanding customer service.
-Competent in basic office procedures and computer skills (Word, Excel).
-Calm under pressure and able to handle challenging situations.
-Team player with a flexible approach to work hours and duties.
-Previous hospitality experience is desirable.

This is a full-time role covering shifts from 7 am to 10 pm on a rotating basis. The salary is £25,749 per annum, with benefits including free lunch on duty, a uniform, 38 days holiday, and membership in the Employer Staff Pension Scheme.
