The Opportunity:
 We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Health and Safety and Environment Advisor to join a team of HSE professionals within the manufacturing facility in Exeter. This is a full-time permanent position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering professional Health & Safety and Environment advise across all areas of manufacturing and operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and supporting the development and implementation of EHS strategies. You will play a critical role in providing technical guidance, managing training programs, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with UK legislation and company standards for environment, health, and safety.
Provide technical advice and support for a complex manufacturing site.
Design and deliver training programs, including toolbox talks, permit writing, risk assessment, and emergency procedures.
Maintain training databases, matrices, and annual schedules.
Assist with internal and external auditing processes and maintain COSHH systems and provide guidance to site team members.
Support and develop a team of local shop floor EHS Coordinators.
Accurately report and investigate incidents and near misses.
Complete and review risk assessments and safe systems of work in accordance with current legislation and company standards.Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a similear Health & Safety and Environment role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of UK and European health and safety legislation.
NEBOSH Certificate.
Ideally a degree in Health & Safety Management or the equivalent level of practical experience.
Proven EHS professional with excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Pay and Benefits:
