Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Industry: Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Location: Cheshire
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights)
Salary: £47,000

We are looking for a Shift Engineer /Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our clients rapidly growing team in Cheshire. They are a global leader in Food & Beverage Manufacturing and Distributing.

Responsibilities:
•Support and diagnose engineering breakdowns, replacing faulty parts
•Enhance, repair, and maintain plant equipment and services according to the preventive maintenance schedule
•Install new machinery and equipment
•Lead continuous improvement projects during planned downtime
•Request spares and consumables
•Meet individual performance measures such as downtime, work order closeouts, and equipment availability
•Support a preventive maintenance strategy
•Undertake predictive, preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks
•Maintain air systems, boilers and treatment systems

Qualifications:
•At least 1 of the following: BTEC HNC/HND, ONC or C&G or 17th/ 18th edition IEE, accredited engineering apprenticeship
•Extensive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
•Must have experience with working with pumps, seals and silos
•Ideally 1 year + working in the food and beverage manufacturing space
•Ideally multi-skilled
•Good verbal and written skills
•Ability to obtain specialist components
•Compliance with health and safety legislation
