Working in various community settings, you will lead a team of health practitioners, and also around half your time will be hands-on delivering the services and leading from the front.
This is a a cutting edge, innovative service providing evidence based interventions that are making a real difference to the health of the communities in which you will be working.
You will also have excellent relationship building skills, as you will be working in partnership with a wide range of organisations, ranging from primary & secondary care through to community organisations. Your commercial awareness will allow you to maximise any opportunities to grow the service and build networks which will ensure the best levels of referrals are achieved.
Any knowledge of NICE guidelines and person-centred principles around behaviour change including MECC, VBA etc would be very beneficial.
You will receive ongoing training, and be working closely with senior management to ensure the success of the service, but at the same time will be allowed to operate autonomously and free to use your creativity and initiative to make decisions which will benefit the services. You will also strive to ensure you develop a culture within the team based on trust, recognition and allowing your team members to use their skills and passion for healthcare to make a real, measurable difference.
