Career Teachers are currently looking for an experienced and passionate individual to support as Higher Level Teaching Assistant within a Specialist School in Walthamstow.

You will be supporting KS1 & KS2 students.

Requirements:

Effective communication
Engagement skills as well as, a dedication to ongoing learning, and a passion for enhancing the students' experience are essential.Additionally, the ideal candidate should demonstrate a firm commitment to safeguarding and child welfare and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively to assist SEND students with their unique requirements.

Details of Position:

Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location: Walthamstow
Contract: Full Time, Long Term
Duration: Ongoing
Salary Range: £75 -£100 daily rate (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Teaching/supporting students with special educational needs in their daily activities.
Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one support.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure students' well-being.
Document and communicate students' progress.Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience within a school or similar setting.
Relevant HLTA/Teaching Qualifications (QTS)
Understanding of SEND and best practice.
Experience with challenging behaviour.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluency in English.
