CNC Operator
Location – Hythe, Kent
Salary - £12.50 Per Hour rising to £13.21 Per Hour after probation.

Do you have previous experience with CNC machining? Can you easily read and interpret engineering drawings?
We have a great opportunity in Hythe to work for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
* To produce work of good quality by means of setter instruction, quality gauges and other aids that are made available to you
* The effective planning of part running order
* To uphold the quality of produced parts in the department
* To ensure that production rates are kept at a satisfactory level
* To be responsible for the control of drawings
* To ensure that you are working with the correct methods
* Is responsible for the quality and control of work in his / her section
* To be responsible for the control of Health & Safety in the area
* Make necessary decisions to achieve the required results within agreed timescales, policies and procedures
* To be responsible for the cleanliness of your work area
* To display good housekeeping in the area
* To attend daily tier meetings
* To carry out other duties that fall within the general scope of the post which may be required from time to time
Skills and Experience
* The ability to read engineering drawings
* A good working knowledge and understanding of CNC machines
* A good understanding of how to set the machines
* Attention to detail
* A good understanding of basic maths
* Good organisational skills
* Problem solving ability
* Good communication skills
* A flexible approach
