HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy and Aerospace sectors. We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer for a leading provider of driveline systems & components for marine and industrial transmissions. Installation, servicing and repair. This role is based in Kent.

Typically, this person will be a mechanically biased engineer who can and is comfortable in diagnosing electrical faults. This person will install drive trains, service and repair. Starting with off highway but moving into the marine & off highway.

Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician/ Electrical Engineer

• Overhaul, repair, maintain and service of a wide range of land based and marine mechanically operated equipment
• Ability to diagnose electrical faults
• Competent at report writing
• Customer facing
• Have excellent communication skills

Qualifications and requirement for the Mechanical & Electrical Engineer:

• Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical transmission systems
• A recognised qualification or industry experience in mechanical engineering
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must be able to commute to Kent for work
