Gap technical are proud to be representing a market leading engineering business in their search for an Electrical Technician (Panel Building/Wiring)

Job Profile

Fitting of electrical components in accordance with engineering drawings.
Assembling a wide variety of electrical control panels - components would include PLC's, invertors, sensors, relays busbars, breakers, drives and invertors.
Installation and testing of electrical panels and cable assemblies.
Commissioning of machines, and factory and site acceptance.Person Specification

Fully qualified BS 7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition).
Experience working in an industrial environment.
Experience in control and automation.
Experience in building / modifying control panels.
Knowledge of BS 60204 Electrical equipment of machines / control panels.
Experience in fault finding.
Experience / knowledge of testing to BS7671.
An understanding of Risk Assessment & Method Statements.
Ability to read schematic drawings.
Flexible working within a team.
Adaptability to periodic tight timescales.Apply
