CNC Production Manager

Salary: Excellent Starting Salary (Salary is depending on level of experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm

A fantastic opportunity not to be missed has arisen for an experienced CNC Production Manager looking for a career working for a flourishing and well-established Manufacturing company, staffed by talented engineers and led by a very experienced Management team - all working to take this company forward in the market as one of the leaders in their field.

In this role you will be responsible for the CNC Machine Shop and manufacturing areas where you will be ensuring the company continue to manufacture their products to the highest possible standard whilst meeting customer deadlines.

We are looking for an individual who not only knows CNC but can also mentor, lead and develop the team to achieve the best in their roles.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading engineering company who manufacture products for various industries and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prioritising, issuing and scheduling work orders for the Machine Shop

* Production target and KPI management

* Overall efficiency and productivity of production

* Quality & Compliance of manufactured products

* Identification of manufacturing needs for new products in development and existing products

* Implementing and maintaining best practices and improvements

* Championing of health & safety and ensuring the implementation around the Machine Shop

* Recruitment, training and development of staff

Person Specification:

This position requires the following key skills and attributes:

* Previous experience as a Production Engineer, Production Supervisor, Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager within a CNC environment

* Experience of leading a team of CNC Machinists (Turners & Millers)

* Excellent communications skills

* Excellent scheduling and prioritising skills

* Knowledge of implementing and maintaining quality and compliance across the manufacturing process
