Linsco are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to start work for a reputable company in Grimsby.

The role will focus on the following requirements:

As Site Supervisor, responsibility for day to day supervision of Highway Projects, which include local transport schemes and major highway and structure improvement works.
Where appointed, support the Project Leads and Professional Services' teams in the delivery of schemes.
Manage and co-ordinate workload to achieve project deliverables within the agreed time, quality, and financial objectives.
Produce daily site records including diaries & photo records. Diaries to focus on site activities and progress against Contractor programme.
On all projects, facilitate the Supervisor role within NEC3 and NEC4 contracts. This includes site inspections, identifying defects and recording defects through an NEC contract management system. In addition, applicants with Knowledge of JCT contract administration would be an advantage.
Manage and monitor the onsite testing of materials and co-ordinating of material acceptance in line with the specification of the works information.
Assist the NEC Project manager produce highlight reports and attend monthly progress meetings.
Carry out pre-design site walk through with the design team to input on the design.
Assist the Engineer in the preparation of information and pre-construction phase health and safety plans for tender packages.
Engage in early contractor involvement with subcontractors.
Deliver the service in line with quality management procedures and demonstrate an understanding of the principles behind these.
Support the Design Consultancy in delivering improved services, and promote and instil company values.
Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be expected at this level.Brief Information

End date: 28/03/2025
Pay rate: £35-40 p/h
Key Duties: Clerk of Works - monitoring principal contractor on site and progress of works against programme
Monitoring site attendance and quality of works
Skillset / Qualifications Required: Highway Civil engineeringQualified or Required Experience:

Qualified to HND/C level with a preference for degree level or equivalent.
A proven track record working in the Civil and Build industry.
CSCS and SMSTS trained
Experience in working with NEC3 or 4 contracts as a Site Supervisor. JCT contract experience is desirable.
Ability to work on own initiative with limited management.
An understanding of DMRB and the Specification for Highway works.
Detailed understanding of Health and Safety legislation, working experience of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and understanding of legislative aspects of project delivery.
Commercial awareness and experience of working within a multi-disciplinary design environment.
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly, conduct effective negotiations with client, stakeholders, subcontractors and third parties.
Demonstrate a high level of initiative in managing workload, be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills and the attitude, conduct and demeanour to reflect company values.If interested in this role please apply with your CV.
