We are seeking an experienced and qualified CDM/Disrepair Surveyor in Gloucestershire, offering a competitive salary of £47,000 per annum along with additional perks such as a company van and a coffee card, all within a 12-month fixed contract.
In this pivotal role, you will conduct thorough building inspections, adeptly diagnose issues, and craft effective repair strategies to address various property concerns, particularly focusing on damp, condensation, and disrepair challenges.
As a crucial member of our team, you will serve as an expert witness, collaborating closely with legal teams and contractors. Your responsibilities will include compiling meticulous work schedules, ensuring all repairs comply with regulations, and strategically minimizing liability from potential legal claims. Your expertise and keen attention to detail will not only ensure property safety but also contribute to cost-effective solutions.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
- Extensive background in building surveying, with a specialisation in disrepair and relevant legislation
- Possession of a relevant chartered professional qualification (such as RICS, CIOB, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with housing health and safety regulations, coupled with experience in liaising with legal teams.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to effectively control budgets.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
