We are seeking a dynamic and experienced KS2 Teacher to join a supportive four-form entry school in Langley, Slough, from September 2024. The suitable KS2 Teacher will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to students aged 7 to 11, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students, while also inspiring a love for learning and promoting a positive classroom culture.

KS2 Teacher Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum, ensuring differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students.

* Utilise a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to engage students and enhance their understanding of key concepts and skills.

* Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and using data to inform instructional decisions.

* Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to achieve their full potential.

* Foster positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaborating effectively to support student learning and well-being.

* Incorporate cross-curricular activities, projects, and real-world experiences to enrich the KS2 curriculum and promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

KS2 Teacher Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, assessment practices, and educational standards.

* Passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively plan, manage time, and adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students and groups.

* Creativity, adaptability, and resilience to respond to the diverse needs and challenges of teaching in a dynamic classroom environment.

Salary

The salary for this KS2 Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract to scale MPS/UPS.
