Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior OFCI Program Manager with expertise in either Electrical or Mechanical Building Services Engineering to lead a data centre project. This customer-facing role requires managing the planning, budgeting, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and performance oversight for the delivery of automation control panels.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive, success-oriented mindset with strong people skills and a positive, win-win attitude. You will play a key role in guiding their collaboration with integrators, MEP contractors, general contractors, and their hyperscale data centre clients to ensure that panels are built and delivered precisely to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers, designers, buyers, and production personnel from project award through to delivery of control panels to site.
Manage safety and quality processes in line with company protocols and industry standards.
Conduct panel build forecasting and planning.
Implement robust cost management systems.
Oversee supply chain management, ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders.
Lead or attend key meetings to provide progress updates, collaborate on resolving issues, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
Manage risks that could affect the delivery schedule.
Optimize designs in partnership with the Technical Team
Ensure successful completion of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Guarantee on-time delivery of panels to customer sites.
Manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects at various stages of the project life cycle.
Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years of Project Management experience in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
Experience with large-scale automation projects; data centre experience is a plus.
Ability to manage expectations, influence change, and accurately report progress.
