Construction Estimator
Wokingham
Consortio Recruitment have partnered with one of our clients and we are requiring an Estimator to join them in a fantastic period of their time. As a business that is growing and have a turnover last year of 30M, they have repeat business and partner with fantastic clients on commercial, motorsport, technology and healthcare sectors. As part of their portfolio there is also light industrial projects. With an office which is a converted farm and in a fantastic location in the outskirts of Reading, the company has a non corporate feel.
The ideal person
* Experienced construction estimator – capable of take-offs, package prep, normalisation and recommendation
* Main contracting background
* 6+ years of relevant experience
* Cut and carve, civils, structural, envelope and refurb project experience
* Sectors (ideally) – healthcare, commercial, technology, light industrial/manufacturing/production
* D&B understating and experience
* Project values £1m-£15m
* Good communicator – ideally with supply chain relationships in the region
On offer
* Salary – to suit experience
* Benefits:
* £6,000 p/a car allowance; or option for EV salary sacrifice company car scheme
* Annual bonus: 10% of salary, which is measured on company and personal performance.
* 4% employers pension contribution
* BUPA Health Care Cover (subject to acceptance)
* 25 days p/a (incl Xmas shutdown) annual leave, plus public and bank holidays.
