Job Title: Fabricator / Welder

Division: Stainless Fittings/Dairy Pipe Lines

Job Purpose Statement

To assist the manufacturing Manager by undertaking the Fabrication and welding of products in line with customer drawings and requirements.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

* Fabrication

* Welding (Manual TIG, Orbital)

Other General Job Accountabilities

* To develop the knowledge and skills necessary to be able to safely complete the manufacturing requirements of the role.

* To develop an understanding and the practical application of materials handling

* To understand, maintain and use the appropriate PPE at all times and adhere to the Health & Safety rules, regulations and policies.

Personnel Spec

Essentials

* Must be able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings

* Must have prior fabrication experience

* Must have a mature outlook on work and work ethic

* Must be able to work well in a team and also individually

* Must be able to use own initiative to achieve company goals

* Must have legible handwriting

* Must be able to take instruction well

* Must have a flexible mindset

* Must be able to remain focused until the task is completed

* Must be determined and positive

* Must be punctual and have a good attendance record

Desirables

* Engineering knowledge (drawings etc)

* Manufacturing background

* Has undertaken weld codings in the past

* Happy to take on responsibilities as and when required

General

* To undertake housekeeping duties as required in all areas of the shop floor

* To undertake new skills and training where required

* To support any manufacturing projects initiated by the Manufacturing Manager

* To undertake other duties as requested by the Managing Director
